Use Micro Keylogger software with antivirus software

Some antivirus programs can mistakenly add Micro Keylogger software to their virus signature databases. To ensure that Micro Keylogger programs are not erased by your antivirus software, we recommend you adding our software to your antivirus program’s Exclude/Ignore/Exceptions list.

How to Install Micro Keylogger with Antivirus?

1. Turn off or suspend Antivirus program.
2. Download and install Micro Keylogger
3. Add Micro Keylogger to Exclude/Ignore/Exceptions list.
Guide about setting up exclusions for: AVG, Avast, Avira, BitDefender, Kaspersky, Norton.
4. Turn on or activate Antivirus program.

AVG Anti-Virus

Exclude Micro Keylogger from AVG Resident Shield and AVG scans detection in this way:

1.Open the AVG program

2.Clock Tools and then go to Advanced settings

3.Click PUP exceptions. Click Add exception button to add a new exception.

4.Now find the file for the following directory.

For Win XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger”
For Win 7/vista: “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger”

5.Add the directory to exclude list.

6.Add the following files in SysLogger folder to exclude list if the directory cannot be added.

C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\zip.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core32_175.dll

7.Click OK to save your settings.

Avast Antivirus

In order to configure exceptions for Micro Keylogger you can perform the following actions:

For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):

Left click the avast! a-ball icon in the system tray.

Choose Standard shield – use the Customize button – Advanced tab

Click on the Add button to add the following directory to the exclude list.

For Win XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger”
For Win 7/vista: “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\*”

Add the following files in SysLogger folder to exclude list.

C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\zip.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core32_175.dll

For the other providers (on-demand scanning):

Right click the avast! a-ball icon in the system tray.

Click Program Settings.

Go to the Exclusions tab and click on the Add button to add the following directory to the exclude list.

For Win XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger\*”
For Win 7/vista: “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\*”

Add the following files in SysLogger folder to exclude list.

C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\zip.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core32_175.dll

Avira AntiVir

Avira detects Micro Keylogger applications and does interfere with their work. You can configure exceptions in the following way:
Open the main antivirus window (Control Center).

Select the Configuration item on the Extras menu or press F8.


Select the Expert mode checkbox.


Expand the tree and switch to ScannerScanException.


Copy “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger” without quotes and paste to the text field, Click "Add" to add the directory to the exclude list

For Win XP, please copy “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger”

Add the following files in SysLogger folder to exclude list of Guard – Scan – Exception tab – Processes and File objects list..
Copy each entry to the text field and click "Add"

C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core32_175.dll

For Win XP, please copy:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger\core32_175.dll


Save the settings and close the window by clicking the ОК button.

BitDefender Antivirus

In order to configure exceptions for Microkeylogger you can perform the following actions:

Launch BitDefender Internet Security and open BitDefender main interface.

Choose the Antivirus option from the left options, and then you should click the Exclusions tab, to add files to exclusions, press the Plus icon.

It now pops up a window asking you how to add the files, add the directory to the exclude list.

For Win XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger”
For Win 7/vista: “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger”

Add the following files in SysLogger folder to exclude list.

C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\zip.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core32_175.dll

Click the Apply button, the exception settings will be applied.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus

In order to configure exceptions for Microkeylogger you can perform the following actions:

Open Kaspersky Anti-Virus and click the Settings button in the upper-right corner of the window.

Select Threats and exclusions.

Click the Settings button in the Exclusions section then go to the rusted applications tab.

Click the Add button. Add the directory to the Trusted applications list.

For Win XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger”
For Win 7/vista: “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger”

Add the following files in SysLogger folder to exclude list.

C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\svchost.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\system32.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\zip.exe
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core64_175.dll
C:\ProgramData\SysLogger\core32_175.dll

In the open window Exclusions for application, select the Settings for the trusted application:

Click the OK to save your settings.

Norton Internet Security

After you download and install Micro Keylogger, do the following:

Open the main antivirus window.

Click the Settings button on the Computer tab.

Click the Configure Add button next to the Scan Exclusions item in the Exclusions / Low Risks section.

Follow the directory below,

For Win XP: “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SysLogger
For Win 7/vista: “C:\ProgramData\SysLogger

Add the directory to Scan Exclusions and Auto Protection Exclusions lists.

Save the settings and close the window by clicking the ОК button.

Now you can enable the AntiSpyware option in the main antivirus window.
